I sometimes temporarily lose the tenuous connection to my body/mind and feel like a jumble of disembodied thoughts out of time and space and I wonder at what kind of mystery physical incarnation seems to be.

So do sometimes. Even better, I find, is when I rub in a tiny bit of butter and lick the butter-sugar mix off my hand. I've accepted that I'm a bit weird :)

Ok, I love you, seriously, I thought I was the only person in the world that did that. I knew there were a few other popcorn-bag lickers, but no powdered-sugar-in-hand lickers. Oh! I don't do that because it is unhealthy, as it the other way is better but I have tasted it that way and it is delicious. Probably because that is the recipe for frosting. Yay, you just made my day. :)

That actually seems kinda disgusting. The intense sugary taste would probably make me gag.

Duh, I've been told that by my parents. That's why I wouldn't do it in front of anybody. The intense sugary taste is what keeps me coming back.

Sometimes I put this stuff on my food to wrench my senses back under control, if I am feeling scattered.
Works every time. It has been rated at 180,000 Scoville units, compared with 2,500-5,000 for Tabasco sauce.

when the dixie chicks insulted the president back in 2000 something, and people everyone was smashing their dixie chicks cds, i was probably one of the only people who was still listening to my copy of "fly". to me it didn't matter what they did or would do i would not trash their art because of a simple mistake on their part.

smashing the disk wouldn't have solved anything, just make me angry at myself because i could not listen to "goodbye earl" and "cowboy take me away".

i also found it stupid as hell when they had to publicly apoligize 6+ times on the news channels, i kept thinking [isn't once enough, they didn't cause 9\11 for god sake]. i love my country but i was not going to disrespect someones art like everyone else was.

Good for You! I don´t know who dixies are and who was the president they offended, I recall only G.W.B. before this one and he was uninsultable.
