All we do in our house is binge watch dvd box sets.

We've been watching Sherlock this weekend.

I went to see Fantastic Beasts today. I've been putting it off for ages because even though I wanted to see it, I couldn't face the whole ordeal of going.

In reality the 'ordeal' wasn't so bad :) . And I liked the main character, his lack of eye contact and speeding away from social interactions was an unexpected glimpse at the familiar.

I'll wait until I can watch it on my box. I'm not forking out money to go and see it at the pictures.

I pay enough for my TV license.

Well my life consist of strange activities done in isolation too, I have always been that way. I guess I don't fit in a box but watching tv is not engaging enough for me but I do have a Netflix and am open to suggestions. I watch everything included some real crap but I only do it when I am brain dead from working on other stuff or just tired.

It probably comes down to what you prefer to watch. I've seen Dexter, Braking Bad and am currently watching The Vampire Diaries. My favoriets has been Dexter and I will also recomend the one I'm watching right now. The thing is when I watch them like this; one after the other, it tends to become this ongoing story with no end. There is so much happening in one episode, and it does become a little "stupid" after a while  BUT I'm still watching it.. :P I'll say give it a go, if you're bored!

Never leaving an apartment with thousands of dollars worth of hardware and thousands of smaller parts to build thousands of devices worth thousands? Bored? Me? No, I am good

DIY is my thing 8)

But Dexter looks to be alright, sometimes I watch the first two or three of something and just bail to another series.

^But it's not cringy. You know that, I know that, and so nothing has changed from that insult. You are still the same, your Pokemon OC is still the same, and so you can stop carrying the negativity around and release it. [You can pm me if you'd like to learn some good ways of releasing negativity.]

That's good advice, Kuraudo. :) I'd also be curious about your techniques to release that sort of negativity. :)

^^ yeah but that made me feel bad, he told me I was weird and that I needed a life. I said something along the lines of 'Well I'm sorry if you don't like her, but you shouldnt make me feel bad about it! He just said 'well you shouldnt give other people the pain' ...just what? Why was he so mean?

^The phrase 'get a life' always makes me laugh, since everyone is life. :D Weird comes from the Norse word wyrd, which refers to the current of energy flowing through everything and connecting to the Tree of Life [think the Force from Star Wars], so 'weird' isn't any sort of insult, even if people think it is.

I have three main 'techniques' that I use.
1) Sit in a quiet room with no distractions of any kind. Clear your mind, and if any thoughts appear, simply catch the thoughts and visualize them vanishing without clinging to them. If any emotions arise, do the same. Breathe deeply and slowly, and with each inhale, visualize gathering energy. Then, on each exhale, visualize dispelling that energy, along with the negativity, down into the ground, wherein the energy becomes positive and pure.

2) Listen to music such as these [preferably with headphones], and with each couple beats, breathe deeply and focus entirely on the rhythm and flow of the music.

[When listening to this song, actually getting up and dancing around the room while it plays helps me immensely.]

3) Ask [whether mentally or aloud, if you so wish] your guardian angels and/or the archangels to help you release the negativity, and visualize the negativity rising above you and transforming into light.

You mean everybody is life? As in I'm on the same level as that meanie?

The last one is really fun!

Some people are mean for the fun of it, or because they want someone else to hurt as they do. As for getting a life, well, branching out is a good thing, but not meanly telling someone they should. He doesn't know even half your life anyway.

Kuraudo, I'll check out your music selections. :) My variation on the first technique is to inhale and exhale positive words, like "calm." The last technique, asking, "Please take this negativity away," actually helps me somehow too.

^^Yes, everyone is life. Behind the facade of ego and mind that humanity has created, beyond everyone's physical form, all is life and love.
When you think of that person, you only see their 'mean' qualities, but those qualities are not their true self. When I look at someone, no matter who they are, I can see that light in them. Even world dictators, murderers, and other people consumed by their negativity and ego, contain that life and love. There is no 'evil', only negativity brought on by a false ego persona and accumulated trauma or pain.

Actually it was just some random person from a chatroom on Showdown who PM'd me about my username saying that it was dumb, but I made it as a refrence to make it seem like something she would come up with (a Pokemon OC refrence on a Pokemon themed site), and once I told him who 'she' was, he started saying these terrible things about how cringey I was. :(

And how do you see light in bad people? If you ask me, their born bad.

^People are not inherently 'bad'; they have life spirit within, as does everything in the universe. It is just the egoic perspective that causes people to seem 'evil' or 'bad'. Babies and children are innocent and pure, free of ego until the ego starts to assert itself and gain control.
