I don't mind advertisements. They pay for stuff that you would otherwise have to pay for... Think, what if Alex got rid of the ads, but started charging for everyone to use WrongPlanet to cover costs... Not accusing anyone here, but people need to think of others and not just themselves before they comment. Ads on free TV pay for the shows you enjoy. Ads on the radio pay for the music you listen to. Ads on websites pay for the hosting and content you're viewing... Think about it

nah I'm not offended... I don't actually see the adds.. I miss out on all of them (not watching TV, they don't show up in firefox or IE actually I think it's my antivirus, listen to non-commercial radio station 
)

I got carried away with the ad blocking so now it looks alot like it did when I joined last spring. Not an ad in sight. 
The next person blocked the ads at least a week ago to avoid getting a headache or seizure from them.

At the moment the only adds I see are green writing adds and yes I am getting sick of them
