A beautiful sunny winter (or autumn?) day. It feels so good to walk in this weather although I was just going to the shops. This is one thing I like about this city/area. Even in winter it's not really cold during the day.

There was a TV ad with a song that I absolutely LOVED when I was around 6 years old. I would think about it every now and then growing up, and even as an adult. A couple of years ago I actually managed to track down the original version of the song from lyrics I remembered as a kid ("Welcome to our World", by Jim Reeves). And just today, I found a video on YouTube of the actual ad, including the song.

Absolutely made my day!

The chestnuts I bought today were all nice and fresh and easy to peel.

Also I just spoke to my parents and one of my sisters on the phone.
