I confess that I waited until 1 pm and now I can't use the electricity to make lunch...or at least not the oven. :(

Time-a-day, it costs extra to run certain electricities from 1-8 pm during the weekdays.

No, no, it's a power company restriction. :?

Perhaps your parents have chosen a cheap plan that fits around their own lives which inconveniences you. They tell you it's a 'power company restriction' when really they have a choice in the matter. Either that, or the power company that supplies you is the worse one I've ever heard of. :?

Either way, does no use getting mad at them. They always try to look for savings so, they did go for the cheapest plan probably. I doubt they have a choice once they have the plan.

True. They do sound really unreasonable though from my perspective. Are you going to be moving out in September or are you staying with them?

Yea, they are a little bit more stringent than the average parent. YES! I am excited! I am moving 18 hours away into an apartment with other students.
