Thanks  I just feel really sick. I'm on a bland diet (which isn't really helping) and I would give anything for a normal meal right now.

ah, actually forgot that sailor moon was probably my first anime along with dragon ball z(think they played back to back) on early morning television some years ago. those were good(might have to look into them for nostalgia sake), though, it was quite awhile back and before they were even known to me to be anime(wasn’t really familiar with use of computers or the internet back then).

was later introduced to vampire princess miyu(have both the series and the ovas) a few years back, and that one is what caught my interest in seeking new anime. don’t have too many though, at maybe a handful or so since it’s hard to know exactly what to get without looking them up, and they can be kind of costly, especially when they go out of print... only just saw that wolf’s rain is being re-released on blu-ray format in february and will probably get and try that now that it’s not going for like hundreds from questionable origins on amazon(it’s been the same deal with the rurouni kenshin series. that one’s been beyond cost prohibitive, so my collection only has the ovas).

^^Who's in your avatar, by the way? It looks like Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, but I could be imagining things.

My parents never really showed any unique interests, aside from the fact that my father worked on stuff with my grandfather as a kid and grew up to be an engineer. He doesn't elaborate much further than that. My mother played typical childhood games with average childhood toys. She never described anything unusual or creative about her life or interests. Not sure how they got a daughter with strong interests and passions LOL.

Up arrows? Oh, do the ^s mean something? Am I supposed to count them to figure out which poster they're replying to? If so, that's sort of clever and annoying at the same time. Also, does ^ look like an up arrow?

An arrow is normally made of a wooden shaft with a triangle tip made of flint on the end and the fletching (feathers) on the other side. A really bad visual representation of an arrow would be what is below that I created from the top looking down (no nasty jokes please).

I know you said ASCII art was a no go but maybe with some context it'll help, I'll post each part with what it is and then the whole thing 8)

If one wants a stand point of an NT, they strive for the 'illusions'. It has nothing to do with friendships or bonding. This is based on what one had told me, and what I concluded so far:
It's just for the sake of 'that game' or social standing.
In which, illusions that either: Makes the 'social balance' by not evoking any anomaly that could cause social or group disruption that evokes conflict, confusions, and emotions like envy. This is what NTs do with friends and especially acquaintances.
Or cause said anomaly, that people who had the right to do so are either someone who fits the context enough not to bring 'conflict' (people who are comfortable or close with you), someone popular or an exemption enough within the context to get away with it (people with higher social standing, people they cannot 'judge', people who are subtile enough to pull this off), or a narcissist (they can't help it), or any combination of the two, or all. It matters not what your personality is, or your intentions are.
Those who cannot see this are accused as 'self-absorbed' and 'immature'.

But that doesn't change the fact that they live in an illusion that just so happens to be supported and maintained by the majority. And I'm sure not all NTs are happy if this is the fact.

DCJ, I don't know what a ^ looks like, or what it's for, but based on context, I thought maybe it's an arrow, because you mentioned there were arrows in the posts. I know what an arrow is like because I've used a bow and arrow for archery. ASCII art does not really translate, and even if I could emboss it as a tactile graphic, it would probably feel like too abstract a representation. I wouldn't be able to see how a bunch of dots and lines represent most real life, 3-D objects. I don't know how to translate 2-D into 3-D because 2-D drawings often have these slanted lines to give you the visual illusion of 3-D. That illusion doesn't come through if you touch the lines. Does that make sense?

It was probably a bad idea, everything I do is a bad idea. I am full of bad ideas, I am a bad idea on God's part.
