I finally decided the dates for my vacation and booked the flights. It's a bit scary though, as I'm taking a different route this time.

Saw my boys today. Do you know what it's like when you haven't seen someone you love for a while and you start getting choked up because they're so goddam gorgeous? Couldn't stop looking at them. Miss them so much it hurts but I'm happy they're happy.

Well my brother got me a Yoda pez dispenser, don't know how many of you remember those...lol but he found some at a dollar store. Then I found some of those washcloths packaged into compact little shapes that you put in water and they expand to their full size so got a few of those....two spongebob and a scooby doo one. I found those things pretty cool as a kid so for only a dollar a piece figured I'd grab a couple. I thought of getting some of the little glow in the dark toys that expand in the water but was a little short on budget for random stuff.

My cat passed away yesterday which upsets me to no end but what made me happy was that before the vet gave him the medication he gave him a kiss and told him he was the best patient a vet could ask for. Then later that day he sent us flowers.

@cecilfienkelstien: I, TOO, am sorry to hear about your cat----but, BOY, your vet is a really special person!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I recently applied for this SUPER-DUPER, EXTREMELY FABULOUS teaching position (the money is OUTRAGEOUS, in a GOOD way), and I just received an email saying that I qualified for the position!! Now, this doesn't mean I HAVE it----it just means I'm ELIGIBLE----BUT, maybe.....
Being told I could go back to my records job after lunch instead of back to the phone center!
Papers are so much more patient than people.
