My transportation provider said she won't be taking me to the animal shelter anymore. It's too far for her, and the snow is too much for her. It was a very disappointing night. :(

Redness and swelling hasn't gone away, and it looks like I'm gonna have to keep the medical aptt. in the A.M.

Getting quotes for car insurance online today. I went to Youi's online quote thingo only for it to tell me on the very last page I will be getting an unsolicited call from them (no mention of it on prior pages or at the start). So guess which number called and spammed me all day? None of the other insurers I got quotes from did this.

I walked all the way down to the library to meet with my math tutor-- and then my dad called me to tell me that he's rescheduled. And now I'm apparently meeting her on Sunday.

And then he asks me to walk all the way down to my mom's work so he can pick me up-- even though I'm on the third floor
and I have a thirty-pound backpack, not to mention the whole way down is like six flights of stairs. Oh yes, and did I mention it's three more blocks away?
Yeah.

Fun party. :?

A few things made me unhappy yesterday

I had a bad nightmare the night before & woke up an hour before my alarm was set to go off. I felt like I was having a panic attack. I just laid in bed with my girlfriend who was asleep till the alarm rang.

When I went to the bathroom, I noticed both my heels were bleeding. The skin on my feet has been kind of dry lately cuz of the winter weather & the heater so I guess the skin got too dry & cracked.

I walked to afew places & it was raining some. There has been ice of the ground from snow so it was very slippery in spots; I slid more than a few times. I got my feet wet walking through puddles & it was raining more heavily on my walk back home.

I took my keys out to check my mail in the parcel box & the ring holding my swiss army knife on my chain broke off. The broken ring cut my finger in a couple spots when I was trying to get the knife out my pocket when I was back home. I attached the knife back with another ring I had.

Strata had to get quotes for childsafe window locks on all the second level windows in order to comply with new legislation. The quote came back, trying to trick us into buying way more locks than needed but the strata manager won't believe me when I tell her. According to this professional locksmith guy we need 30 locks to cover all 8 units, but according to me we only need 22, maybe even less when I check in the morning to see which ones have security grill flyscreens.

Learning that the main hard drive in my PC is probably on the fritz. :U Probably explains some of the random instability and data corruption I've been experiencing.
