I'm in my early 60s and find myself waking spontaneously after 6 or 7 hours - which is OK as long as there's melatonin. Much better quality of sleep...

Would you want me to make you some strong coffee, or maybe do something else that would interest you enough to stay awake?

Thanks for the suggestion. I had to look up black cherries and apparently they only exist in gardens and some parks where I live. I wonder if cherries would do the trick. Melatonin apparently isn't sold without a doctor's prescription here, and going to the doctor for this would be overkill at this point. Maybe might need to later, but as of now, not so much. I appreciate the suggestions though, and googling it gave me some suggestions for remedies I can try out from the drug store without prescription.


Thanks for the offer, but I'm not a coffee drinker and the caffeine in Pepsi sure never helped me stay awake though, but hey, maybe I should give it a go. Or we could watch a good horror movie, that should help keep me awake.
