What have you done?

Something going on? Your message has a sad tone to it, well at least to me Albirea (not trying to put you on the spot don't worry I'm unsure of what to expect not that it's a bad thing.)

I just didn't want to alienate all_white because of my interest in Portal. It seems I've done that a bit just now.

[By the way, it's not an addiction, it's just a special interest. It'll subside in a while like all my other special interests. ]

I really don't think that's happened Albirea

It's fine if you like a certain game and call it a special interest. I'm not going to point any fingers, I'm just saying it really doesn't matter. I have a broad interest in all kinds of games anyway so it's hard for me to get hooked on something personally. I know when it would become a problem. Today has been a lazy day for me though and I've mostly been doing things on my laptop. Although it's good to take a load off of all of the things I've had to do for a while, I still take it seriously since grades are obviously a big thing and going to college.

Oh dear Albirea, I was only saying goodnight because I had to go to bed!

Please do not worry about discussing your special interest. I talk about mine. I rambled on about passwords until TPP told me frankly he didn't care.

I was only sharing the fact that I'm a gaming widow and computer games traumatise me, but that's not your fault, is it? You can't adapt everything about yourself to please other people. It would be impossible.

Example: suppose you are sitting in your room wearing a black T-shirt, playing a computer game, and eating peanuts. Then three people walk in and all start to cry. One says: "your clothes bring back bad memories for me. I was mugged by a a man wearing a black T-shirt." Another says "your hobby brings back bad memories for me. I was divorced by a man addicted to a computer." Another says "Those peanuts offend me. I'm allergic to them and they could make me die."

As you can see from my example, if you were to try and please everybody in the whole world, soon you would have nothing to eat, nothing to do, and nothing to wear.
