I lost an important piece to a handmade doll that I'm working, and can't I finish without it. One of my cats was playing around with it the other night and I searched my whole living room and even cleaned the floor and under the furniture (which I put off doing for WAY too long), and I found all kinds of junk like scrap poster board I stashed under the couch for future use but it's all dirty so put it in recycling. I also found a few good things, like some small rubber balls and toy mice I gave the cat to play with. But not the missing part. I'm thinking of running down to the store to buy a new one, but I'll bet if I do I'll find the other one right afterwards. Murphy's Law.

Also a friend of mine moved our time out together to Friday because it's been snowing and the roads are "slick". She's done that so many times that I wonder if she's just thinking up excuses because she just did not want to take me out today. :(

My check didn't come today,

I have recently cashed a 401k and while that probably sounds like I am rich. I am not actually, its only a small amount but I would still like to have it. It'll help savings look a lot less bleak.

Well Windows 10 isn't horrible but its not very good, you could reinstall Windows 7 and just do a clean install. I find doing periodical clean installs help with performance anyway. I never use an old install unless I am on Linux.

as I type this every other letter drops out, the puter is now glacially slow, acting like it has insufficient memory. read somewhere that 10 won't run properly on less than 8G RAM on anything less than a quad-core. I may just have to bite the bullet and get a new puter since I will have to do several months worth of reinstalls and reconfigs in any case.this designed obsolescence jazz is a PITA.

People keep borrowing cigarettes from me. I lack the volition to say no.
