i very much find cringe-worthy, people who quote themselves in their posts. it is especially pathetic when someone who posted a post that was not responded to quotes his own previous post in order to "bump" it back into view.
i am not doing this in this instance.
i realized that i damaged the quality of my last post by implementing the suggestions of various psychiatrists who i remember telling me that i should "disclaim" myself as much as possible to counteract possible perceptions that i may be arrogant (because that is one of my real life problems).
i have a habit of saying things i have reasoned as if i am quoting them as established facts. like i have read what i am saying, and i am quoting it with authority. when they learn that it was just my idea of what was the case, then they feel "betrayed" as a person called it. "betrayed" means "hoodwinked", but i do not know what "hoodwinked" means either, and i know it is not a good thing.
so, to safeguard against other people's notions that i am quoting facts i have read, rather than facts i have deduced, i have to add things like "i think", and "in my opinion", because that solves the confusion for the listener as to whether they are hearing "gospel", or just b9-chipset-xl-998312-a-151 register output.
i also was advised to include qualifiers (descriptions in brackets) when necessary to augment the scant continuity of my sentences.
so, with all that in mind, and to subtract all those rules from the first part of my previous post, it would look like this...
____________
it does not make much sense to say "what is on your mind".
it makes better, but still insufficient sense to say "what is in your mind".
if i calculate all possible interpretations of the question posed in the topic title with "fuzzy"logic, then i interpret that it means "what idea am i currently considering ?", and i shall proceed on this basis.
the rest of the post was devoid of any remembered rules, so there is no need to include it in this post.
