...brilliant! I shall subvert and parody all those stupid school cliches you always see in movies/books. What does seeing oceans/water in dreams symbolize?

Ocean
To see an ocean in your dream represents the state of your emotions and feelings. It is indicative of spiritual refreshment, tranquility and renewal. Alternatively, the dream means that you are feeling empowered and unhindered. You have a positive outlook in life and are not limited by anything. If you are sailing across the ocean, then it signifies new found freedom and independence. You are showing great courage. If the ocean is rough, then the dream represents some emotional turmoil. You are doing your best to handle life's ups and downs.
To dream that you are kissing the ocean floor implies that you are coming to terms with your emotions.

Sea
To see the sea in your dream represents your subconscious and the transition between your subconscious and conscious. As with all water symbols, it also represents your emotions. The dream may also be a pun on your understanding and perception of a situation. "I see" or perhaps there is something you need to "see" more clearly. Alternatively, the dream indicates a need to reassure yourself or to offer reassurance to someone. It brings about hope, a new perspective and a positive outlook on life no matter how difficult your current problems may be.
To dream that you are lost at sea suggests that you are drifting around in life without any direction. You are feeling overwhelmed by emotions. Dreaming of a crystallized sea indicates that you are looking for some emotional stability in your life.

Cool! :flower:

I was actually getting excited thinking that a dream about a potential Nadal-Istomin final in a Grand Slam might come true, based on how well they're both playing. To see Denis is the second week of a slam and Rafael coming back to play a second week are both pretty exciting in themselves. I would faint if my tennis tournament dream actually came true.

I had an odd dream last night, where me and my family moved back into our old house, which we left a decade ago.

I have dreams like that sometimes, its usually because I haven't been getting good amounts of sleep. Have you been having trouble sleeping? :(

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried taking melatonin sleep aids?

regular sleep aids won't help here because I've been falling right asleep and sleeping uninterrupted, but waking after only a few hours, generally before the time in my regular sleep that I would dream and recall. I normally dream at the end of my sleep time, just before awaking.

I have tried that before but the kick-in time is too slow. the bright side of less sleep is I fall asleep at night a LOT quicker, useta take an hour or 2 before I finally dozed but now I zonk out barely after my head hits the pillow.

Warning: Violent content! Reader discretion is strongly advised!

I was dreaming that I was sitting at a picnic table outside of a building at my school. I was eating lunch, but in a very depressed manner. I was crying and although a male classmate approached me, I politely asked him to back off and leave me alone. He obliged.

After I finished eating, I walked to the campus library to look for a quiet area to study. As I sat down at a table to begin working, I fell on the floor when someone hit me from behind with a baseball bat. I was knocked unconscious and in turn, provoked a seizure.

I woke up in a room and I was tied to a chair with my arms behind me. The person who approached me and admitted to knocking me unconscious was my sister. She told me that because I have seizures and am an Aspie, that I will never gain self-confidence. The dream ended with my sister breaking my arms literally. {Think the "leg-breaking" sequence from the film Misery}. I screamed, but no actual sound came out of my mouth. 8O

The dream was entirely in black-and-white and had nothing to do with my girlfriend.

I dreamt I was dead, the date was October 14, 2017. I "awoke" in heaven in an unfamiliar building in an unfamiliar neighborhood but one that felt like I probably had been to before but a very long time ago. I was inside a smaller building in a room lit with indirect light, beige walls and dark flooring. I sat in a large executive office chair in front of a table with a PC on it, that was oddly shaped and in 4 sections. the screen was a black box about the width and height of a CRT tv set but only a few inches thick. odd tech for heaven. anyways, the thought occurred to me that I had to notify all the people that I knew that I was gone for good and could not get in contact with them regularly anymore, and in a bit of dark mirth thought to myself, "i can't just ghost on them now!" so I got on my email only it was the oddest email app I ever saw and try as I might I couldn't notify anybody, it kept taking me to heavenly places, so I tried once more and finally got into my Outlook email program only then the computer malfunctioned and started making odd noises, and I got peeved and tried to reboot, I hit "CRTL+ALT+DELETE" to no avail then I hit the reset button to no avail then I hit the power button and held it down, to no avail, then I picked up each piece and shook them and slammed them into the table, to no avail, and by that point the other people in the room stared at me like I had gone nuts. at that point i got up and went "outside" to find myself in a tarmac-covered cul-de-sac surrounded by dense forest. i tried to move forward but only stumbled gracelessly, then i started to float, at which point I awoke. 8O

Well you beat me then! I wish I was knocked out that easily. I usually take 2-3 hours before I am able to fall asleep. :wtg: last night my seep was too deep for the production of dreams. :(
