The only reasons for why I have so much potential power are that no one suspects the neurotic, rules-bound, second youngest teenager with the appearance of a freshman and I happen to hold the office of treasurer for my grade.

I know they say not to judge a book by its cover, but today I bought two books partially because I liked the way the covers looked (though I must state that I also read the descriptions to be sure that they contained subject matter that is relevant to my interests).

One of them is called Pembroke Park by Michelle Martin. It is a Regency Romance novel with lesbian themes. I liked the cover because it features two ladies (presumably the heroines) in Victorian fashion, and the blonde one is dressed like a man. The art is done in a chic, minimalist style. I ordered the book from Amazon.com for a little over $6.

The other book is called Lady Knight: Protector of the Small by Tamora Pierce. I like the cover because it features a young woman in knight's armor. The young woman's face and hair look very similar to my own. I am considering making this book cover my avatar, if it turns out that I like the story. I got this book for $3 at a thrift store.

If I force myself to work on practically anything not involving the social sciences, I find that the subjects become special interests.

I drank an entire 2 litre bottle of sparkling spring water today. I've started at 10 this morning and I'm just finishing now.

I cannot stop listening to Miserere. If I stop, it continues in my head and I get an odd discomfort as if something broke.

My slippers are orange yellow with Teddy bear faces.
I just ate a carton of strawberry ice cream and two cups of nissin noodles.

I generally remain silent because I hate speaking and having to convert my thoughts into verbal form.

I figuratively (literally if it ever happens) see the forest for the bacterium on the back of the bug (order hemiptera) on the bark of the birch.
