I once had a fear that the dentist would accidentally yank my teeth out with all his scratching and picking and tugging with the hook thingy...

Turns out, one actually needs a wrench and quite a bit of leverage to yank my teeth out.

I remember thinking this would happen when I was a kid. I wasn't afraid of it, though. I just figured the tooth fairy would give me money to buy new teeth.
