what a day!
I'm not even going to explain what happened, except
Melbi called me,
she needs a lot of support,
more than I can give

I would really appreciate it if some people could lend her some support,
pm her and tell her she is a wunderkind and has a bright future
Like you all do, if you believe it
I try to tell her that, but she doesn't believe

Thanks blue_bean, I figured you were better friends than she admits to.
She's taking drugs that her psychiatrist gave her and they're are making her suicidal
and antagonistic towards her friends... or maybe just me :(

Yes, she posted in the away/back thread a little while ago. I guess she felt the need to sacrifice things like WP in order to have more energy to concentrate on her studies. I haven't sensed any antagonism towards me from her. I kinda feel guilty about piling some of my own problems on her since we become friends (I haven't exactly had much of a will to live either lately). Maybe she needed to take a break from other people's problems as well.

No, that's not it.
She's alone ALL the time!
She needs someone to be with her.
It's tearing her apart.
Her parents sent her away when she was a child,
her fiance is in another state,
the aspies she has met on WP just aren't emotionally avaliable,
and it's all "I need someone NOW!"
and there's no-one there.

I sat there considering sending this for the longest time
and got more and more and more depressed
and then finally decided I couldn't take it any more and called melbi,
it was a very short conversation :
"Hi Melbi, I just called to make sure you're alright?"
"Yes matt, I'm fine, my boyfriends here"
"Oh, that's Fantastic!"
"Thanks matt, bye"
"... oh and blue-bean sent you a message..."
she had already hung up!

I don't know if I worry too much or not enough
better late than never
tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow,
creep in this petty pace from day to day
it was the best of times, it was the worst of times
All's well that ends well

Well Mr Syzygyish, I wish I could fill in the blanks for you here, but Miss Melbi would freak out :P

Stop quoting long messages, please. Speed quoting should be against the rules.
