Congratulations on the volunteering! It is also very good that a school would fund a student lounge. :D

And also, congratulations on having found a major as early as the eleventh grade! Are there any specializations or concentrations in mind at the moment?

YAAAY! I love psychology as well. I'm confident that you'll do very well in college if you're passionate about the subject. It's what always happens!

I want to get involved in the field of cognitive psychology and become involved in researching. Cognition has always been an interesting study to me and I really would like to know more. Being such a broad field as well, there is a lot that can be studied. I'm really excited for college right now, that's all I can say really lol.
Thanks by the way for having confidence in me Albirea, I think the college experience is going to be awesome.

Psychology is a great field in that it can easily be the focus of an interdisciplinary curriculum. That way, you can learn about psychology in a wide perspective, applying everything else you know as well.

Coursera may have a few open courses on psychology with a focus on cognition, if you want to begin some leisurely study.

That just gets me more excited right now hearing that lol, but that's always been the cool part about the field. I've always wanted to learn as much as I can and apply it. Also thanks for suggesting coursera kevinjh, I'll be sure to look into it.
The glados voice was also neat to listen too as well. :)

A side note: That fan-made GLaDOS voice uncannily resembles the voice coming from the Portal-style pedestal button in the Core hack at MIT.

It sounds different from the real GLaDOS voice, but the two fan-made recordings are different in the same way.

If you know what I mean.

That would be because MS. Anna voiced both of them. Note the capitalization on which I insist.

Of course, if you want something else, there is also Jennifer, a high-quality voice actress.

There are still subtle (and not-so-subtle) differences between fan-made versions and the real version with Ellen McLain.

That would probably be because these voices I commissioned were computer attempts to mimic a human attempting to mimic a computer as opposed to a human attempting to mimic a human mimicking a computer.
