I got an Atari ST for xmas in 1989 8)

That was probably more important then some wall being knocked down on the news back then. The news bulletins on tv used to have weird introductions back then. Electric lightning bolts zappng a strange stick thing...aload of blue coloured paper slamming down into the words six o clock news. And Channel 4's logo looked like aload of lego stuck in the shape of 4

Ah the days before 24 hour news coverage
