The last 2 days I was worried about college because I had a lot of stuff to do but I always know that the situation won't ever end up being as bad as I can imagine and usually the situation doesn't even end up negative at all, that was today.
I showed my video that actually had to be finished 2 weeks ago to my class and I'm sure the video came out pretty great.
I have no idea if the class actually enjoyed or cared about the video at all but I felt pretty great when they saw my video.
The video itself was just a presentation video about myself but I had this Awesome idea of showing it by navigating through Windows XP folders in a floating 3D atmosphere that would eventually change into iMac folders to show me changing through the years but After Effects couldn't handle it so I continued the video in front of a camera talking about myself and there was one pun. (Actually 2 but the second one didn't make the final cut)
At some point I explained in the video that I travel to college by train but miss the train a lot, I was about to explain the reason why but I got interrupted by something outside. At that point I ran outside to check what was going on and there was something flying through the air. I ran towards it and the "Media Pending" panel from Premiere pro appeared for a few seconds and after that I said that that was the reason why I always miss the train, I said goodbye and ran towards the train station. I also added a car that would almost hit me but I forgot to add the shadow of the car into the video which made the car look fake.
I ended the video with pictures of me as a kid flying through the screen.
It's a great video, I have done better videos but I'm proud of it.
The class gave me an applause at the end, which is actually a standard thing that's done whenever someone gives a presentation but it made me really happy.
Great day, I'm still glad that I actually decided to put more effort in the video than needed; The actual assignment was just to talk about yourself in your own style. Most people made a slideshow or an animation in After Effects which was also creative of course but it was fun to make more than just a simple presentation.
Anyways, I'm glad that the video got me in such an Awesome mood, now I'm gonna work on my presentation for tomorrow's 3D class and even if the presentation will be the worst presentation ever, I always know that it will never end up as bad as I think. But that's not an excuse to make a bad presentation :^)
Anyways, I'm in a great mood which is pretty obvious after saying the word great 6 times and it's time to continue with the presentation :U
