This was my third try on Citalopram. Though it has its benefits, I don't feel like 'me' on SSRIs. I hope the side effects are going to subside soon.

I have been on Citalopram, I tried it for two days and I soon became apparent that I was not mentally depressed in the way these drugs dictate.
The best ones for me I found, when I first tried them were mid anxiety boosters which you can purchase from Holland and Barrett, but seeing as it contained traces of St Johns Wort, probably was why they stopped them.
However, if you are like me, not that you are, you might want to ask for Paroxetine.
If or some reason, you are having unparalleled panic attacks and no amount of 'human therapy' can resolve it, then you need something else.
I know, you are not mentally weak, and if you want to make any amendments as you call it, then starting with your health would be a good idea. 8)

Thank you for the advice.

I have tried natural remedies such as St John's Wort, Gingko Bilboa and 5 HTP. But alas, they were all ineffectual.

Irrespective of what I am taking, I surmise that unless my circumstances change, I will always feel sad and withdrawn. I have to accept that I am responsible for my (in)actions.

Our actions are always our undoing, and resisting it incites self deprivation..and not finding at least one fault means we fail to ground down challenges and apply some self discipline to ourselves.

Blocking your pain signals is the easiest way to remedy pain when I feel my PMS is starting up again, coupled with the nagging in my wisdom tooth, I turn to any pleasure.

Its clear for instance why men like massage parlous, that slow erogenous sensations throughout the body can filter through seamlessly. Feminine arousal is slightly different to men's, a hormonal factor.

Being drugged into some cerebral serum building cortisone thoughts.. can't be fun.. but applying the last amendment may help the unpleasant side withdrawal of involuntary medical.. intervention.
