Lolz. I can be like that sometimes. I was working on knowlege I had acquired long ago. Seems I either misinterpreted or forgot. I shouldn't be so adamant like that with such claims. And I do in fact have a great amount of knowledge when it comes to linguistics, but my area of interest is centered around Sino-Tibetan languages, the Romance languages, and PIE(Proto Indo-European).
I've never met an aspie that doesn't have gaps in their knowledge of a certain subject. Ever. Aspies will focus on certain aspects of a certain subject and completely ignore others. The narrow interests thing is what's responsible.
