Ugh. When I was stimming (where I get up and move aimlessly across the room), my stomach has become nauseous.

was that nauseousness due to sudden novel movement or something else?

It was after I sat back down from doing it for a while.

Thanks. I don't usually drink tea, though. I feel better at this point.

I feel a craving for chips and salsa right now. :(

maybe the chips and salsa need a gaviscon chaser. that is the nicest of the antacids, it tastes and feels like marshmallow going down.

I don't know if I should, though. You see, I also like atomic fireballs and in the past I'd suck down like 5 at a time. My mum as a gift recently bought me a thing of 'em, but having even just one now starts some wicked wicked heartburn. :(

maybe defer on the spicy stuff for a while until your stomach settles down, like a few months.

Well, I gave into temptation and got some chips and salsa. I made sure to get it with lots of extra onions and cilantro, which I hear are highly alkalizing, and I had some; I did not experience a worsening of my heartburn. :D

I seemed to cough a bit more today, though, producing some clearish-white sticky sputum, but nothing I need to run to the doctor for yet. I'll keep an eye on it.

I've been passing a lot of slightly burning gas today.

As well, I've had sinus headaches on and off and itchiness, along with a cough that seems to have become high-pitched again, like before.

salsa and cilantro? I know when my gas misbehaves like that my innards also feel hot almost like there was burning hot food in there digesting slowly and bubblingly.

I thought it was just the dryness, but now that it's moist again I don't know. I get these effing coughing fits where I'm coughing so much, it feels like I'm about to throw up. If I lie down, it often gets worse. If I get up and move around, it gets worse. It seems only staying in a sitting position helps at all, and even that is not perfect. Of course, this doesn't fit with the way I like to do things--I generally don't sit or stand still unless I have a choice. I usually prefer to either lie down or to be moving around. If I get too excited about something, I also cough. Ugh! I cannot abide this!

I can sleep if I take like Benadryl or I get exhausted, but I'll wake up just a few hours later coughing up a storm. I've tried multiple things, such as repeated showers (at one point I took like 10 in 2 days!), though now that the dew point has gone back up it's no longer an issue; taking generic guaifenesin; and drinking lots of water. What should I do? I've gotta go back to work tomorrow, but it's going to be like impossible to sleep!

Not gonna preach this but Chinese Medicine does wonders for my chest where Western fails gloriously. Same for other Eastern ways of addressing dis-ease. Their herbal teas, if you can get hold of them can work a treat.
I learnt this after a vile reaction to multiple antibiotics prescribed for pneumonia. That was nearly 30 years ago and haven't looked back.
I wouldn't recommend accupuncture, I have a needle phobia but definitly would say look into reflexology, shiatsu or Tui Na massage for (possible) immediate relief. Possible in brackets as there could be deep-seated underlying reasons for your cough.
Don't be surprised if they pay no actual attention to your chest. Bear in mind that the Chinese healing system can turn a breach baby with no more than the heat from a smoking herb stick http://jama.jamanetwork.com/article.asp ... eid=188144

I also find Benzoin essential oil is very helpful. It's very resinous though and the only way that works for me it is to hold the bottle up to your nostrils and take a good sniff one nostril at the time.

Dry coughing fits and frumptious farts. Both are my enemies.
