...I thought that swallowed gum stayed in your stomach for 7 years...

But that didn't stop me from regularly swallowing it a tiny piece at a time :P

And it's why I wasn't allowed to chew gum until I was let's say, about 10 or 11 - mother was afraid I could swallow it by chance. But even if, I would be afraid to swallow it as it was because thanks to mother I believed I could get appendicitis this way.

I thought every time a plane went overhead, and my siblings and I would yell for it to pick us up, that it would actually pick me up.

I thought I would die if my Bugs Bunny doll was gone :( I finally had to part with it at age 10 (it was so ragged it wasn't funny) and surprisingly.. I lived afterwards.

I thought movies were real (in some cases)
that Mr. Conductor actually was that small (sadly Ringo Starr nor George Carlin were that tiny :lol:)

I also thought if I stepped on a crack it would break my mother's back. It never did.
