That's an interesting image. It reminds me of a SF novel I read for an English class, Lathe of Heaven by Ursula LeGuin. Quite possibly that novel inspired the "childhood dream" in question. Did you make any more in this vein? You should!

Sadly not. The avalanche of problems that are otherwise known as my life right now began shortly after making that image, and I never took it any further. I lost my Muse, I suppose.

Thanks. They are all from Washington, taken this summer. First one is a remote area of the Pacific Coast off the Olympic Peninsula. The others photos are all in the Cascades. The last one is a digital rendition of Mt. McKinley. I would love to fly there in real life and get a picture with the clouds just like that.

I should buy me one of those razors. I like using my electric razor, but it's getting to the point where the electric razor won't get my neck hairs. Maybe I should just grow a beard.

well i wish i could grow facial hair, sadly i cant. anyways washington rules, whats the cost of living there like? i know seattle is pricey but shurely theres cheap places to live there.

Yea, Seattle is expensive. My place is really really small and it's still a lot. You can find cheaper housing if you're willing to put up with room mates. I can't. I have to live alone or I'd freak.

There's probably cheap places if you go live in some smaller towns. The deserts east of the Cascades are sunnier, but a lot colder in the winter and hotter in the summer.
