The former Spar supermarket in my home town. They were bought out by the supermarket next door:

A large can (I've only ever seen these in Home Bargains) of Irn Bru:

And a bottle of Alhambra Negra, a Spanish dunkel. Very mediocre indeed - in terms of dark lagers from Iberia, I prefer Portugal's Super Bock Stout. 5.4%.

I'm too nostalgic. Must learn to live in the present more. While I'm getting to grips with that, time for something completely random.

What is that? It looks like hash browns with something else that I can't quite see?

This was my breakfast this morning:

Nice! Very nice indeed. Would have been nice if there were a bit more detail, but you can't have everything. You've omitted the EXIF data from your images which is a shame as I p'raps could have helped you out with settings and so on. Never mind.

Is that the cider you were going on about? What's it called? Can I have some? ;)

Also, I went to Sainsbury's today and bought a load more beers that I shall be photographing in due course. :)

Twas called an American Breakfast. It was eggs benedict, with bacon, and (English) muffins. Very filling. From a caf in Leicester.

That was a different cider. It was a mixed berries Bulmers I think. Very fruity. Made me a bit sleepy. I am a lightweight tho'.

What were you doing in Leicester? Is it a bit grimy, Leicester? Owt to do? If I go, will I make it out alive? (Probably not with an attitude like that, but that's by-the-by.) ;)

I was going to the wedding of my old housemate. Leicester isn't my favourite place. But I've been to worse.

The best thing to do in Leicester is probably eat breakfast and drink pink cider.

I don't seem to be able to get my photo to show up here. So I'll take the easy way out. http://47x.deviantart.com/#/d4bgg5l

I'm not sure what the leaf was doing there. Maybe Americans like leaves on their breakfast. I think a chestnut tree leaf would have been more appropriate.

Lovehearts aren't as lovey or hearty as they used to be are they. It's the inevitable decline of the modern world.

God, it took me ages to eat that. Was stuffed. Only £5.95 too, including a pot of tea. Good for a pink cider related hangover.

Two English muffins, two poached eggs, some saucey stuff, two slices of bacon and two hash browns. And a leaf. It was the leaf wot dunnit.

Was enough Americanness for this bird anyway.
