1. I was born during a massive power outage and I wasn't exposed to electric light for nearly a week (best days of my life...)

2. I witnessed the birth of a baby in a close-up and personal way Let's just say I saw my friend's son before she did.

3. My parents gave serious consideration to tossing me overboard in a plastic laundry bin, when I was six days old.

No, believe it or not that's true. I went straight from my hospital birth onto our boat, but on my sixth day there was an armageddon-type storm which nearly capsized us. My parents and brother had life vests but I was too small. They were going to toss me overboard in a plastic bin and attempt to jump in after me.

Guess again.

1. I hired a private OB for the birth of my first child.

1 is my lie. There wasn't a power outage but even if there was, I spent my first weeks on our (capsizing lol) boat.

For you kraftiekortie, I am guessing the groundhog is the lie. I love groundhogs though so kind of hope it is true, not that it was injured mind you, but that you got to see one so close and personal!

Nope...never seen a wolf in the wild. The closest I came was seeing "Dances with Wolves" with Kevin Costner. A most vicarious thrill.
