No, I'm afraid I can't offer anything more than moral support, syzygyish- I don't think my husband would approve.

Sounds like you need to go to bed and sleep it off. :hic:

I'm sorry Hal, I can't do that!

A Sid hug, is a cuddly hug, that's given by someone, who loves animals. I've started giving them, when the movie, 'Flushed Away' came out.

For a room, or your reptile habitat?

Reptile habitat. For my tegu. I bought a PowerSun at the last reptile expo i went to, and it died in about a month(it's supposed to last a year!). I just ordered a MegaRay online, so i'll have to use my old SolarGlo bulb until it gets here. I hear that the MegaRays are supposed to be the best Mercury Vapor Bulb out there, so i'll give them a try.. The only place i've been able to find them is their website, though.

But, it's worth it. Reptiles are so cute.

Us, and them. And after all, were only ordinary men.

I'm fine....I think.

It was how they were when together that affected me the most. Kids have to learn about things like love and relationships from their parents, and they take so much from their parents and how they treat each other. I can see my oldest brother and how he treats his partner; he barely touches her, practically disowns her. I often wonder if he's that way because of our upbringing. We lived in a loveless household.

^That video is a complete LIE!
it contains elements of the truth,
BUT it does NOT espouse any truth!

The truth is people look after each other,
people Care about each other,
people get involved in each others lives
If you don't, there's not much point being here

OMG! I think I just quoted a hollywood catchphrase!

You're absolutely right, syzygyish- of course there's more to life than the lyrics of that song suggest. Just go to any public place and you'll see old couples taking care of each other, parents caring for their disabled kids, total strangers assisting someone who has had an accident, etc, etc....

A lot of bad stuff happens in the world, but there's a lot of good, too. People need each other.
