I'm beginning to realize that ever since I turned 13 I have been progressively becoming less and less trusting of what other people believe. I'm not distrusting of people in general, just their beliefs. I'm becoming more psycholgically alone, distrusting of the reality I'm presented with, sinking deeper and deeper into the lunatic fringe. When I was a little boy I was different from others in what I was interested in. As I grow older I become more and more different from others perhaps not just in my views of the world, but in my overall perception of reality itself.
Not that the beliefs of other people deserve my trust. The teachers in my high school did nothing to stop the bulling that went on in said school. People call themselves tolerant and then discriminate against me for who I am. People advocate nonviolence and then allow violence to happen when they see it. People say they are helping me when they are trying to indoctrinate me. People call me disabled when the world is designed in a way that is detrimental to me. People talk about equality when 80% of the world has nothing. This world does the exact opposite of everything it says and is completly unaware of this.
I have seen the darkest side of this world. Looked it straight in the face and heard its bullying insults. The image and the sound of that has been burned into my brain as if I have looked a gorgon in the face. This world is relentless. It doesn't matter what I believe because I still was born the way I was and to the world I am disgusting for that reason. I think the world is disgusting. It stripped me of my dignity and I hope it becomes stripped of its dignity, if not by my hands, by the hands of a mass of others who have been stripped of dignity and well-being by its ways.
The darkness of the world has consumed my psyche now. I can't look away, not ever, not for a second. I see the darkness everywhere, I see the face of bullying everywhere I go.
I have seen the depths of my own psyche too. In distrusting the world around me I have learned a lot about myself. Can't look away from that either.
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you."
-Friedrich Nietzsche
