^It's because the Politics and Religion and Love and Dating and Haven parts are of no interest to me, especially since there's a lot of negativity in all of them.

I really need to stop posting threads or posting on other peoples stuff then like completely forget about it forever. I just realised I've made so many of my own threads with lots of replies and forgot I even did it haha.

I can't tell my mum anything. I have to stick to small talk. If I tell my mum anything whether it's bad or good, she overreacts in a very negative way.

I get the feeling I only really care about "this" for simple pedantic accuracy.

Trying to get over some of the harsh, unforgivable sh*t my unstable brother said to me the other day.

I didn't take much of what he said to heart, and some of it I laughed off entirely, but one thing in particular was especially bothersome to me: he told me that some people he speaks to think I look, and act, slow in the head. Now I know I'm not slow—I know slow when I see it—but to think that people think that of me is bothersome. Perhaps it's BS, but I don't know. I've long suspected that I appear slow to quite a bit of people, though that could just be my paranoid thinking. In high-school I had someone assume me to be simple, but I believe that might've been due to my selective mutism.

Anyway, I've cut my brother out of my life. I just can't deal with his abuse, and his death threats, any longer. It's a shame it's had to come to this, but life's too short for more of this.

i think one of the USB ports was 3.0 and the other 2.0.

Ah USB 3.0 is 900 mA, still shouldn't break nothing but I don't know off the top of my head, I might want to get some sleep actually. I am very tired and working on stuff tired a bad idea

I forget that USB 3.0 has more current, I always default to thinking 500 mA and that is probably safer. I don't want to blow out any of my USB ports though my first laptop had a bad USB port and it makes me wonder what the previous owner plugged into it. It can kill the motherboard but mostly drawing more current will just kill the USB port.

Odd... I thought USB was designed to be reverse compatible, with the only difference being that the speed being capped to the lowest gen usb in the chain.

e; Wait, which USB 3 type are we talking here (identifiable by the color of the plastic separator in the connector, with white being usb 1, black usb 2, blue usb 3, and red being a special type of usb that always has power even when the pc is turned off I believe)?
