Last night I went swimming in the sea in the middle of the night. It was dark and the water was warm and there were so many stars in the sky. The whole thing was just amazing. I love summer nights.

i managed to go to all the places i had to go today without being significantly hindered by obstacles.
people did not get in my way, and traffic lights were green, and traffic was light and it was a very unfrustrating day.

that, by itself does not make me happy, but i have a default disposition of mild happiness, and obstacles and frustrations to my progress counteract my default disposition, and then i am not happy that i have been displaced from my default equilibrium of contentedness.

nothing successfully made me unhappy today, so i am happy (in a very dreamy and non euphoric way).
