I need a nap now. I woke up at 4 this morning coughing and needing to pee.

This term at my college is almost over and I don't have the feeling that I was productive at all during this term. It was my favourite one but I feel like I have been absent a lot and did not hand in all the assignments which means I could not get all the required credits and possibly repeat this year in the worst case scenario.

Some would say that if you never had a term like that, you didn't get the full college experience. But don't make it a habit. ;-)

Hmm... I usually just jump in with questions or experiences related to whatever they're talking about. Sometimes people won't answer a question, or the conversation ends. And then I try again somewhere else. Not sure you actually want to answer this, but what is it that you're actually concerned about? These threads have lots of people throwing out all kinds of random stuff to see what will evoke an interesting conversation, or sometimes just to be heard. Not sure if thinking of them that way makes you feel any less concerned?

Eh... typical feelings of silent judgement from the members that have been around long before I arrived. Not sure how to get beyond that, but the way it generally happens is when a response begins to come from the other side.

Idiot posts on WP that make me want to reply, "You're an idiot!"
But that wouldn't be very nice, would it?
I mean, I'm sure I've made lots of idiotic posts too.
But not as idiotic as that guy! :x

That is Edvard Munch, 'Two Women on the Shore'.
I think they are the same woman, really. And I am standing on the shore.

Funny, when it came into my head last night, I didn't know why. But now I think I can see it.
Rambling.

Back from my field school in the Yorkshire Dales. So. Much. Limestone! Had a great time, ironically met a fellow aspie and possible genius considering her age. We'll probably keep in contact. It's been fun but very hard socially, surrounded by so many loud, talkative, curious people. It was personally a social success however and frankly hilarious when I was bought a drink by the resident tutor after spending down time at the local bar (and a very nice cider it was, too.)
I can blend in it seems, but lack the stamina for regular conversations to do much more than listen.

It's one of the reassuring certainties of life, to me, that I can always find a more extreme example of someone else doing the same thing that I am.

That's why I always pull into the right lane when I can; it's certain that no matter how fast I go, someone will want to go faster. Not sure if that is a useful metaphor, or just an example of idk what... an idiotic post?? ;-)

It's an example of a post that is far removed from idiocy.
