Listened to The Nutcracker, one of my favorite Classical music compositions, on the way home from work today

Dean and I went to a Christmas dinner that was being held at my local Dairy Queen down the street. We had turkey and all the trimmings.

Also, The Kinks.

My Jacquie Lawson Advent calendar had a really cute scene today, with two cats and a dog. One was a Calico kitty that looked a lot like my C.C.

Had a nice talk with my mom about my uncertainty over where/what I'm studying. She understood what I meant and was understanding.

My GI doctor listened which was surprising so he will give me my report ahead of schedule, probably sometime next week instead of end of January.

It is always reassuring when you find a doctor who listens to you. I am fortunate to have a good one who listens to me and who knows that I am very interested in medical topics and in preserving my health. Good to hear your doctor listened and is acting in a timely, proactive manner.

Attended my first meeting for people on the autism spectrum, sort of a reading group with a fixed monthly subject. Quite a few of us there, too. Didn't contribute much myself being the new person, but had a good time, all in all. Somehow, that fixed subject - Christmas - wandered so far off course, we ended up talking about Nazi occupied Germany, while later on I and another discussed the lunar lander and that ridiculous conspiracy theory that denies man set foot on the moon.

It made me happy, but it also made me cry. The neighbour who has an apartment over mine (who I contacted on facebook a while back) has wished me a merry Christmas with a smiley and a hug, by a message on facebook.

Maybe it's because he knows I'm lonely, and he can see that I haven't decorated for Christmas. That makes me feel ashamed.

Opened our small church group playing O Holy Night.

I thought I would mess up the ending. That part went fine.
I got the first 2 notes wrong and decided to start over.

Well I'm very happy because I have less things to worry about than I've had since around springtime

Elder sister arrived home for Christmas, finally I can have a decent conversation with someone who understands. :)
