I wonder how many of the things I thought were normal about me actually aren't. I've just assumed they were, and given I don't make note of them, no one would say otherwise.

You can get tinnitus at any age if there's damage to the auditory system, like from loud noise or infections. Mine has gotten worse in recent years.
