You can get tinnitus at any age if there's damage to the auditory system, like from loud noise or infections. Mine has gotten worse in recent years. If it's affecting your life, you can get tested to see which frequencies are affected, and they can rule out other causes, especially simple ones like wax in your ears.
Definitely not a problem at all since it doesn't take much ambient noise to drown it out and it has persisted for as long as I can remember. It's a high-pitched squeal somewhere in the 15khz range or so. I've read though that in silence, a good majority of people report hearing a sound, which makes me skeptical of it actually being tinnitus, which is where the confusion lies -- at what point do we even classify it as tinnitus?

Off to a good start though. So, the alt text doesn't help you, as the script creator, to keep track of your images? Anyhow, let me know when, if, I can try it out.
To be honest, I haven't paid much attention to the alt attribute, as that's mostly a layout thing, and I'm usually busy working on the internal mechanics that I avoid fooling with the layout outside of basic visual organization until later on. I went ahead and added them in now, though. Every image save for the HP bars in the roster arrangement screen should have them.

Yeah. I also wonder the reverse: how many things I thought were weird actually aren't.
I tend to think about that one less, on account of growing up believing myself to be "normal," and any quirks a result of the choices I've made. Who knows? Maybe that's still true.
