Jeeh, I was 'warped' back in time this evening. Around 25 years back or so.. and me really loving comic books around those days, esp. those made by the Belgium cartoonist André Franquin.

Well, dug into my old comic books and read some.. plus searched the internet googling for stuff he made. Biographical stuff also. Man, his cartoons, his humour and character sketches are amazing, I tell ya.

I'm pretty amazed too.. how very little the world, apart from Belgium, France and Holland, know about some of the brilliant things he drew.. and the humour he had, in, for instance, the Gaston series.

In my opinion, he was the best cartoonist that ever lived.. until this day.
