I don't like my mind right now. Stacking up problems that are so unnecessary. Wish that I could slow things down. I wanna let go but there's comfort in the panic.

I've only just recently learned that Canadians pronounce sorry as "sore-ree", while I pronounce it "saw-ree" the way Americans do. Up until then I never really noticed, or cared, about how it was pronounced. This makes me feel weird and kind of embarrassed, but it also bugs me for some reason when other people say "sore-ree". It also bugs me when other Canadians pronounce envelope "AWN-velope" instead of "EN-velope". That has really bugged me for years. And supposedly collie is not just pronounced "CALL-lee" but also "COAL-lee", although for most of my life I have never heard it pronounced any other way than "CALL-lee", until sometime in the 90's when a lady on a Canadian kid's program always said "call-lee coal-lee", I guess as a joke or something.

*sigh*

Just thinking about all these subtle differences in our languages is tiring.

I am no longer obsessed with the human mind, to the extent that, the thought of doing any further research, simply, repulses me.
