Loons are so beautiful birds, don't you think?

I have a very old school sense of morals, and I don't want to question it because then I'll get in trouble.

between close lovers, such intimacy is the closest act of trust and affection... it’s like it causes innocent explosions of ecstasy for the spirit that cause a much deeper bonding with that one other(oxytocin). of course romance involves more activities to bond and share love than just having it, but not everyone has or wants it for the sake of love... such without love, doesn’t only produce oxytocin, but similarly dopamine. to not stick around, one primarily takes from the dopamine response... however, enough familiarity with a partner, and the oxytocin response is indefinitely superior to the dopamine response.

Well let's see, they could cause me immense pain, take my toys away, stop buying me nice things, or all three.

Or they could be super nice, take me shopping at all the cool stores, and have playtime with me. Which one do you think I want?

It's not that bad! All I have to do is keep my chores done, and don't 'look down' as they say.

everything you feel is the result of a chemical response in the brain. oxytocin and dopamine are neurotransmitters... while both are very pleasurable. oxytocin is what creates deeper bondings between lovers or kin, like that between two partners or a mother for child(too, it's also released while hugging, kissing, cuddling, and the like). dopamine regulates the brains pleasure responses, and increases memory retention as well, but is followed up with the release of a blocker(forgot what it's called but it's why people who frequently seek casual sex or sexual imagery become more and more irritable and less satisfied over time).

I know Kura won't get that. She probably thinks feelings are from the spirit or something. Am I getting it right Kura?

Sort of. Feelings and emotions alone are affected by brain chemistry, and the other way round, but love, peace, and joy are states of being, not feelings or emotions. At least, according to Eckhart Tolle.

No, I just think he has an intriguing perspective. He walked away from his job, his schooling, his home, everything--and sat on a park bench for two years, gazing in total bliss and joy at the world. Then he eventually told the story of how that happened, and what he uncovered, and began writing books.

Today will be just another day for me.
