Update: just tried Greenbriar 1968 and it smells VERY GOOD :D Way better than I expected, I was unsure because of the description (hay, sawdust, grease, dirt), but once you wear it starts to shine.
And it seems like it'll be a hit with the ladies

MissC: I read somewhere that they have a "night out": At the bar + smoke + alcohol + sex + sweat" ,
but it's gallery only :?

Kaleido: Yes, they have grass and some woods, what is "wood stain"?

Anna: You know this is playdoh
suntan 1967 is coppertone, apparently it smelled better then
How higher are the prices in the Sweden shop?

Mmm, I remember a shop that made their own candles, and they had one that smelled JUST like freshly-mowed grass and cucumbers.

The shop doesn't exist anymore...

I wish I bought that candle!

SWEET! I hate perfume. I can't stand it. The only perfume I like is the stuff my Grammy used, because it wasn't overwhelming, and mixed with her natural scent well. Perfume has a very bad effect on me. Like for instance when my mother bought these terrible perfumed laundry sheets, and it got on my clothes. The entire day I was in a fog, randomly snapping at people, and my whole body hurt, and then i figured out what had happened. So i'm pretty much allergic to perfume. I can't be around people who overwear it.

I know it's not very nice, but there is a certain type of woman who wheres very very cheap perfume, and a lot of it. When I am near that type of person, I will causually say to whoever is near me, "I smell cheap perfume." or "I smell cheap perfume, it isn't you is it?" Just to give them a hint to just use a drop or two rubbed with their wrists on on their neck.

And don't get me started on mens body wash and such. Axe is terrible. I smelled a man today wearing so much of it I almost gagged, and I got away quick. Middle school was spent in a terrible axey fog. The guys liked to run around and spray it in peoples faces. So everyone smelled like axe most of the time, and it was hard to concentrate, especially in class when you get about 30 people smelling like it.

But those look really nice.

lol the moment I read the description of Greenbriar 1968 I thought it must be an awesome "guy smell" :p

in the Swedish shop they cost $80-$110 a bottle, same in the one in Munich. I mailed them directly to ask how much they would charge in the NY shop, I guess if I skip the insurance it won't be that bad.

Damn, that's a lot, almost 30 dollars more for each bottle! ._.

I tried Greenbriar 1968 the whole day, and I absolutely LOVE it, it's kind of sweet by the way, sweeter than Black March, so it definitely isn't a "macho" fragance. I love it.
Tomorrow, Mr. Hulot's Holiday (:

Update: I love them all.
All of them smell great. I've been wearing them the whole day and it's a very pleasant smell.
I think Greenbriar will be my fave one, the one I ordered without thinking

Greenbriar as it's name suggests is a green vine with black thorns in the lily family. I hated it when working in Ohio's woods, it's not pleasant to the touch!

I was wondering when someone else would mention that. I wondered if it was a toy or something or a link to a weird news article. It took a while for me to remember the colloquialism.

Do you like Yankee Candles? They come in loads of scents.
