As I tell friends who tell me my room is all in disorder, "it is messy, but it is not in disorder".

Even if there are things in the floor, or the bed, or over other things, that does not mean there is not order in it.

I know where I put things, and I almost never lose anything.

I see people (NTs) whose rooms may be all tidy and all, but they have to look all over the house (and even the street or car, sometimes) for their missing keys or work badges.

Their problem is that tidiness means nothing if you don't know where you leave your belongings.

It is easy. If you have good memory, you can leave them wherever you want. If you don't have good memory, always leave them in a particular place for that item.

Even if you have good memory you may need to be consciously making a note when you leave anything anywhere.

I guess those people simply leave things without really noticing it and then have no idea where they are.

I like to think that what i have is 'organised disorder.'
CDs and DVDs strewn about the place but i know where they are, well until mum comes and cleans them up...

I hate when something like that happens to me!

They just end up putting things where I can't find them (or have to look all over for them) and may even damage them (in the case of comic books).

Mom learned not to touch my belongings as much as possible.
