The language I use often sounds formal and archaic to people - sounding older?
The way my voice slips into falsetto when I'm stressed - sounding younger?
Idiosyncratic choice of clothes - looking older or younger as fashions have changed around me?
With beard - looking much older?
Without beard - looking much younger?

[Question marks because few people have ever said directly what they think - just my guesses.]

What I wouldn't give to actually *BE* younger and not just look or sound younger. I hate being 45. Since the fall I've had arthritis in my left shoulder and it hurts all the way up to my elbow, and it especially bothers me when I try to sleep at night. But what's worse is that I can't move my arm properly anymore. I'm left-handed so I'm worried that soon I won't be able to use my dominate hand for drawing cartoons or writing or making crafts.

I don't know what I did to deserve to develop a painful crippling disease, but I'm guessing it's because of my weight. Everything is because of my weight. If I got hit by a car and ended up in the hospital with my body horribly mangled the doctors would probably say, "You'd feel a lot better if you lost weight".

I haven't gotten any feedback that I sound very young, but my voice isn't all that light so that might help.

I definitely look younger than my 41 years. When I see "normal looking" people my age, they look so old! I don't mean to sound mean about it, but the difference is significant.

My balance and coordination is better than it was in my 30s. And I am now better at using a shovel to plant flowers. But, my eyesight was better back then.
