I can see colors around people, and just a faint outline around other objects like trees, toast, etc.
I don't think it has much to do with background colors, either, because I've repeatedly checked out my own in a mirror against a plain white wall, wearing different colors, and it's always a clear green. I've seen others that range from golden to deep purple.
I genuinely do not understand how people can just write it off. Either I am lying, which I'm not but I guess that's not verifiable, or I'm crazy, which may or may not be verifiable. Still, everything emanates energy, so why the hell wouldn't one be able to see it? Doesn't have to be some big woo-woo thing. Just because we don't have a scientific explanation for it yet doesn't mean it's a figment of somebody's imagination. Before we knew what rainbows were, were they just someone sniffing too much glue? Oh, right, they were made of Skittles then. Taste the rainbow.
I'm pretty sure everybody can, it's just a matter of, like someone said, relaxing your eyes and focusing a little differently. Like those hidden pictures that were really popular some time back? Or maybe I was just tasting the wall or hearing the frame or something.
