How do you know who the inner circle is if you don't know who is PMing who? I appreciate feedback but popularity is too much work for me.

I don't often feel like I don't belong here or whatever. I find people here to be very accepting. The only place on WP I sometimes feel I don't really fit in is PPR, and that's because I don't always understand things well enough to be able to join the discussion, so I just read other people's contributions instead of getting involved myself (and other times when I want to say something but loads of other people have already said basically the same thing).

i just see this site as a slate that i can write my thoughts on (if i can find a post which i want to post in which is rare now), and there is a reasonable chance they may be read.

i do not really care to hear feedback, and i do not get any feedback anyway, so i am comfortable.

i once wanted to join in with the members, but they are a club unto themselves and so i am content with just chirping my thoughts like a bird in a tree on a busy street.

i think one has to have a "charisma" (whatever it is but i think it is an attractive "pied piper" way of talking to people with a charm that makes their audience take notice).

i have no charisma and my way of talking is sterile and not emotionally conducive, so people skip what i say but i do not care because it is the same way in all the world and i am used to it and i am actually kind of happy with it.

i never felt a great need to connect with anybody in the present.
i can not talk for my future.

I find your posts interesting and amusing.

Clearly this is a trolling thread (hilarious EC) but I will still put in my two cents.

I pretty much agree with b9 (on the first part anyway). I generally do not come here to get feedback, I just like being able to post my thoughts on random topics or etc. Its just really nice to be able to have a place to just.. comment an opinion on something without any reprocussions.

It's also nice to participate in an intelligent debate now and then.

But I don't really care much about the people in general (not to be offensive, just saying I don't really come here to 'hang out' or 'make friends')

I do not feel unwanted on this site.

There are some members who are buddies with eachother. I am on amiable terms with several members here. But I wouldn't say there are any cliques to the exclusion of others. I comment on what I find interesting, regardless of who posted it. But what do I know? Lol I typically don't even notice cliques or politics anyway so I wouldn't know if they existed here. *shrug* Ignorance is bliss they say.

I have started avoiding the PPR forum, unless it's something really interesting.

^ Agreed. I avoid that place like the plague. When I say 'intelligent debate', that forum does not come to mind

I honestly can't keep up with the forums, there are often 50+ post an hour.. and I only have about an hour to try to read them. Life interferes with my web surfing.

Do I feel welcome or unwelcomed here? I feel comfortable because I have a little understanding where others are coming from.. everyone here has AS, believes they have AS, or knows someone with AS.
Yes there are people who write large volumes of posts… and yes they have their own little family or relationship that they built over time, they understand each other because they communicated for a long time. I’m sure you are welcome to join the ‘family’ if you play nice and post lots of messages.

I personally hang on your every word with great anticipation. It's because you're a hottie. An underage hottie but a hottie nonetheless.

Not intelligent when one is verbally attacked if they are not atheist, agnostic, or practice some pagan-type belief system, and have left-wing radical views.

To be fair, it is fairly easy to be ignored on a website with 30,000 members and hundreds of posts a day. Especially when you're only in the 30s post count wise.

I get most of my posts ignored, don't bother me I prefer to sit in
the background, anyhow if I am posting I am just doing it to vent
or talk with people with similar interests
