Bacon- and beef-flavoured crisps are normally suitable for vegetarians as well, because they don't have any real meat in them.

If I were that teen, I'd ask the cashier to look at the ingredient list, and point out that "wine gums" is just a product name.

I remember how amused I was to find out that Bacos are vegan :lol:
