A random observation about guys
Wear a baseball cap. only if my hair isn't washed
- Neglect shaving. I resent that! I shave twice a week sometimes, whether I need to or not.
- Wear glasses. I do not wear glasses or any accessories except for clothes and shoes, but I should wear glasses.
On second thought, how can you dog people for wearing glasses? Aren't bad eyes a disability? That's like saying you don't like all the people sitting in wheelchairs.
- Have large, 70s-like sideburns. Sorta guilty. They come down, not to the bottom of my earlobe, but to the bit of cartilage that sticks out at the top of my earlobe. That's not too low.
- Fairly slim, very tall. 5'9'' with my shoes on and 185lbs. Definitely not guilty, but at least I have some muscles.
- Always so dam* positive, happy, and enthusiastic. Not guilty, except when I've had too many cups of coffee...

The guy I like, is an aspie but is guilty at some of the features that you are talking about. But this person looks good without facial hair. And he could do without the glasses. He's just one of those guys that is good looking enough. He has a mustache, and I absolutely hate it on him. And his glasses are too Neopolean Dynamite for my taste. He would actually look good with long hair and a clean shaven face.
I'd like to add a picture to go with Fiz's description.....
- Wear a baseball cap - All the time, even indoors, to block out the light that would otherwise cause headaches.
- Neglect shaving - I cannot shave everyday due to a skin condition. I time shaving around important meetings for my job so I look presentable when I need to present. I don't like facial hair, but do not like being clean either.
- Wear glasses - Same as the baseball hat, I wear sunglasses all th etime, unless I can control the light around me in order to prevent headaches.
- Have large, 70s-like sideburns - My sideburns come down 3/4 length of my ears, so not quite '70s-like, but I do have them.
- Fairly slim, very tall - I am 6'1" and 200 lbs, so not really. I should be 185 pounds, but...nevermind.
- Always so damn positive, happy, and enthusiastic - Absolutley, positively, never!! ! Except wround children.

Drizzleman, do you use a stylus and notebook in paint, or a mouse and mousepad? I like paint but now that I have a laptop, using it is difficult, especially if I want any refinement in my drawings, and my index finger gets cramped navigating in the small area my laptop provides.
Sorry for getting off topic.
Since unfortunately I don't have a graphics tablet, I just use the mouse. You could buy a mouse to plug into your laptop, but if you're spending money anyway maybe it's better to go for a small tablet?
For your info, I drew that picture in the gimp rather than in paint. You should check it out - it's open source and free to download, and is considered about the same level as Adobe Photoshop.
Sorry for the late reply; I don't check here as often as I used to.

Hah, reminds me of the female Vice "Don't" doll:

She has her own myspace now! http://www.myspace.com/beckydontdoll
The only things that describe me that well on that list are the sideburns details - mine come down to about the base of my ears, maybe a little higher. Without them that long, I look "too clean-cut", or so a friend at university told me.
Not to worry, I'm sure they'll vanish along with the rest of my hair at some point ![]()

Why so serious?
Has anyone noticed in the last year how so many (NT) guys out there now look the same? A huge number of guys have adopted the following characteristics:
- Wear a baseball cap
- Neglect shaving
- Wear glasses
- Have large, 70s-like sideburns
- Fairly slim, very tall
- Always so damn positive, happy, and enthusiastic
They're EVERYWHERE and I can't get away from them. I don't know what annoys me about them either...maybe it's just that they all look the same and there's no individuality to them. Who knows.
Baseball cap? Sometimes
Neglect shaving: Can go 3-4 days without shaving
Wear glasses? Yes
Large sideburns: Yes
Fairly slim, very tall: 190 lbs, 5'10--does this qualify?
Positive/Happy/Enthusiastic: Most of the time.

That actually sounds a lot like me. I wear a Fender Guitar baseball cap, I wear glasses, I'm fairly slim and tall, and I have sideburns (though not huge 70's ones.) I do shave, however, and I'm rarely very positive and happy.
I'm an aspie who doesn't wear...

I'm slim and somewhat tall: 6'
Not really pessimistic or sanguine.

Really? Guys don't have individuality????! !! !! Talk about the sistas! (Nah, you're right; nobody has any individuality, especially in the context of aspies)
