I don't really follow modern comics, so I have no idea what's going on (except when my friends let me know when heroes die/come back/whatever), but it sounds like it could be a cool idea. The whole Alan Moore/Frank Miller thing was cool for a while, but there's just something really fun about golden age comics.

I love comics, but mostly I'm into Batman and Dick Tracy. Would love to get into Marvel (especially X-Men and GI Joe), but the compilation books are really expensive, and Marvel isn't really something you can just jump into out of nowhere and be able to figure out what's going on.

Trust me when I say that in Heroic Age, you can easily jump into Marvel Comics just like that. And I'm also into Batman, my favorite being Dick Grayson as Batman.

Golden age comics was fueled by word war 2 and the first Captain American comic was puching Hittler on the face. The Silver age was fueled by sci-fi stuff... Ajax appears from Mars and also the fantastic four and Flash. In the Bronze age there are more ambiguous characters like Wolverine and the Punisher. Modern age was characterised by darker themes like in "The Dark Knight" comic or "Watchmen".

I´m also into comics. The last one I read though was "The House of M" when Wanda kills the hawkeye... I thought that story was quite good and felt sad hawkeye died cause I liked him. Well I haven´t read anything since then and don´t know anything about "Siege" or the "Dark Avengers"... by the way the Dark Avengers are just being released in my country with a lag from the US... This new heroic age with this Avengers team seems appealing though... Well my favorite Avenger team is:

1) Captain America (Steve Rogers)
2) Iron Man
3) Vision
4) Hawkeye
5) and maybe the Hulk if he isn´t on frenzy

Why this formation? Cause it is the formation of a game I played when I was a kid on arcade (good times!). Hulk was the villain I guess.

I´m also looking foward the Captain America: The First Avenger movie and the Avengers movie itself... It will be a blast.
