I used to do that almost on a daily basis when I had a metal frame for my bed. I'm so happy I left that dang thing behind when I moved! :)

Yes I have, many times. Incredibly painful, the kind of pain that makes you swear a blue streak or turn purple from trying not to. I don't usually wear shoes indoors so my toes aren't protected, and it's always the baby toe that gets smashed. Why must the little ones always get the worst abuse?
One time I accidentally hit my baby toe against my stationary bike and it was painful for several days at least. I was told it was possible I'd broken it although it must have been a minor crack that healed on its own. Ow...

Actually that happened a lot back in my old apartment which was a lot smaller and I had less room to move around things. But it still happens sometimes.

I sometimes stubed my toe on the legs for my bed when I lived with my parents.

I'm kind of clumsy in other respects but I don't usually run into things.

I'm used to walking around the house barefoot in the dark at 4 in the morning. XD

>5yo thread

Chairs with legs that spread outward rather than stand perpendicularly to the carpet tend to cause such accidents. My toes have accidentally kicked my father's dining chair quite a few times because of that. I've never kicked any other chair because their legs are not like that. Fortunately none of us has broken a toe.

My mother has a clumsy friend who trips and falls or bumps into things quite often (although she plays tennis). She has broken her same little toe twice in a short period of time, accidentally kicking the same piece of furniture.

I always wear slippers so even when I unintentionally kick something it doesn't hurt much and I am not sure how often actually I do it because I instantly forget about stuffs like that. I only remember the time I stepped on stairs badly and sprained my ankle because it was related to some longer pain.
But I can often hear bumps and swears of my dad which is always walking barefoot at the house. LOL

In my case hands are in worse danger - I tend to accidentally hit stuffs as I walk. I even managed to accidentally sprain my finger over my own waist. I move my arms way too much.

BTW: When I hurt myself I don't automatically jump, hold the hurt body part or show signs of distress such as swearing or cry. I take save position (remove pressure from the body part), wait a few seconds to see if the pain is still there and then look at the hurt body part and gently touch it to see if it looks hurt, is getting swollen and if I can move it. People won't know I hurt myself unless I tell them "I guess I sprained my finger" after I am done with my examination or unless they see I am hobbling.

All the time. I also bang my thighs and legs against things and often hit the door way when walking through doors at home. My gross motor skills are not that great.
