I'd be able to recommends titles if I knew what type of games you like, but I'll give you a list of games I enjoyed anyway:

Demon's Souls- a great game with a nice helping of challenge (I'm already on my 3rd playthrough)

MGS4- if you've played the other ones you gotta finish the series, it ends well.

Red Dead Redemption-a very good game by rockstar And I really liked the storyline.

Disgea 3- just because I like the series and it's humor.

God of War 3- come on it's god of war if you've got a ps3 your obligated to get this game.

Heavy Rain is good to but I'd rent it since there's not much replay value.

3D dot game heroes- is a good call beck to the classic legend of zelda games, and has it's share of references and jokes.

There's also a ton of games on the PS online store which are exclusive, as well as some classic PS1 games.

Oblivion - the best graphically, most involved and interesting, probably the longest game play of any game out there. Beautiful scenery and music.

Killzone 2 ? it was pretty fun.

OR MAG I heard interesting things about that game.

My daughter has had so many problems with her XBox....the :twisted: red ring of death! My older daughters boyfriend has a PS3 and he loves it...he plays online and uses it to watch movies. They also have netflix and can watch the movies directly from the PS3.
I think the main game he plays is Call of Duty.
