I'd go back to my school years and finish the accelerated program they put me in...and actually do the work this time and seek out help. Then I would have been better off, MUCH better off.

That's exactly what I wanted to do, I actually left school and left some work unfinished and weren't prepared to face reality, but I had to do it sooner than later, otherwise it would of been too late, especially leaving school until your 19, it would seem pretty bizarre for me.

I had no idea what ASD was at the time and how it was affecting my ability to be the ideal student that my teachers expected me to be. I had gotten a diagnosis back at the age of 4, but I was never told about it or given therapy for it (probably due to financial constraints though).

If I had known what I do now, and was able to carry that knowledge with me, I think things would have turned out better. Then again, some things are meant to be, and perhaps instead of going back in time to fix mistakes I should focus on the present and start from here.
