That has nothing to do with the topic.

Take some ritalin. That's how I stayed awake today.

Temporarily change your age here and read some of the threads in the adult forum, some of those should keep you awake.

Wire your balls to a car battery with a periodic switch attached.

^ That's a little extreme. Just put on a bullet proof vest and find someone of a different race that you are sure you can barely outrun and yell a racial slur at them. The kick of adrenaline from having to run for your life will keep you awake.

Or if you have access to videogames those keep me up, or just refuse to sit down.

Instead of making yourself ill by staying up for 24 hours, you could just read Easterbrook's 'review' of The Black Swan

Easterbrooks Black Swan review

Link above:

That should have you fast asleep shortly after take off

How about getting a copy of Bernanke's book/thesis on the Great Depression of the 1930z or..........George W. Bush's memoirs :?:

Either of those would put me in a coma

buy some of those sleeping pills?

or the last and only time i was on a plane some years back, i brought the Twilight series book, Breaking Dawn with me and finished that on the flight. A good book is great for killing time :)

I don't think if sleeping pills go well with zoloft.

they do

i took sleeping pills while on a similar medication and didn't experience anything outrageous. Just don't comsume alcoholic beverages while on them..

in any case, I'm up for 24 straight hours often.. that just happens when you work a dumb shift.

the key is, keep yourself busy. and jack in the box oreo cookie shakes help too.

Try keeping my 'Taleb and the Easterbrook affair' on page 1.

There are probably less than a handful of WP members who will respond and it is a thread that requires some thought (and that you read Talbe's response to Easterbrook's 'review' which I have provided a link to)

:)
