That's apart of the charm though.

Planetariums are kind of amazing to me. With relatively little visual input (relative to today's film theaters) you are transported using your mind to places we have never been, to incredible distances which push the envelope of one's imagination.

Being hot and smelling crap all day is part of the charm? Try going to a zoo in the summer in Florida, not fun.

I have always loved museums, my favorite is the The Museum of Natural History on Central Park West in Manhattan and the Hayden Planetarium nearby. And there is the Metropolitan Museum of Art at Central Park East. Up north near Washington Heights adjacent to Fort Tryon Park is a place known as The Cloisters that has all sorts of Medieval art and armor on display.

That is something that I would love to check out!

Hmmm... I hadn't thought about art and how it relates to museums. Museums include artifacts, and art is one type of artifact. I have visited NY city, but none of those you mentioned. I have been to the Museum of Modern Art. NY city is obviously rich in opportunities in all the options in the poll.

Aquariums are a close tie behind museums... I just find fish fascinating... but history and art slightly more so.

The ocean is like another planet, in being foreign to our world on land. If we ever find life on other planets, it will probably not be as rich and diverse. I expect it will be something like our one celled animals. Our planet spent most of the time that life existed with pretty basic lifeforms.
